For people with experience with both, why did you make that choice?

Goblins. Why?
T1. {Goblin Lackey}
T2. {Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker}
T3. {Goblin Matron}
T4. Whatever you want.

Elf combo costs under 100 without cradle..
Usually goes off for a turn 2 or 3 win

I've heard of this. Something about 1-2 costing elfs and draw a card for each creature yøū play?

I have been an elf erson for ever. When it comes to explosive plays elves is it. They are just so fast. I mean in a few games i have hard cast and {emrakul the aeons torn} on turn two. And if that wasnt enough to win then certianly using {fauna shamen} to cycle two of them for infinite turns deffinerly works

At the same time though good elf decks run at least two {geia's cradle} and like a crop rotation in place of a third. They a very crucial in getting there in the early turns

Hmm competitive and slightly budget? I might get myself into elfs legacy then! :)

Here's my elf deck list. And I'm too lazy to link te cards...  Nettle sentinel. Heritage Druid. Birch lore rangers. Priest of Titania  elvish visionary. Elvish spirit guide. Elvish archdruid fyndhorn elves. Wire wood symbiote quirion ranger  regal force emrakul glimpse of nature.  No gaea and I still go off turn 2-3
