I was wondering the same thing. I just guessing it's cause of the elves.

Hey boss. Just a couple suggestions. Acidic slime at least 1. Green suns zenith 2-3 of. You will still want to get land drop for walkers and silverheart so I'd rOck 23.

You might want to consider running beast within too for planeswalkers. And predator ooze is cool and all but not worth a spot in the deck. It's just to slow.

Willthomjr

I especially agree with Dungrove. He doesn't have trample but is pesky because of Hexproof and it's mono so no brainer 4 of for sure.

Cool I'll make those changes.

Why do you need the acidic slime? Just cause its so useful?

flexibility for swords, enchants like the card reads.  It seems steep but almost every deck finds him useful MG or RG for removal plus he's deathtouch for fatty matchup

It's hard to build a deck with {green sun zenith} it just wants to make me run 1 of everything

haha.  The tempo gets jacked up then.  t2 giest is the reason why this deck is competitive.

t1 elf t2 geist swing for 3 then dungrove then silverheart is how you want almost every game to pan out.

you could also run a couple swords main deck (war and peace/feast and famine) throw in some birds makes it a little slower but guarantees a t1 dork with the ability to give a bird a sword early and reek havoc

The real reason I was putting this together is cause I figured I was probably going to need a new deck in the fall. I didn't mind trading for the {Dungrove elder} cause he's not worth all that much but I don't really want to spend hundreds of dollars on cards I will only use for at most a few weeks... And even then I'll probably use my sligh deck if I want something I feel i am competitive with.

I just figured this would fun to put together as nobody really seems to play {predator ooze} and with {rancor} and {nightshade peddler} he's gonna be a beast!

While I acknowledge that the deck is inherently better with {green sun zenith} I don't know if I'll run them or  not. They're kind of valuable for a card that I may only be allowed to use for a couple of weeks (I only really play standard) so I may shy away from building the deck that way.

Well I noticed you added 4.  I ran 3 in my deck and usually played 2 before I won or lost.  It shuffles back into the deck so Maybe play test 3? Mono green is a lot of fun, if you dont have creature advantage planeswalkers poop on your party.
