Chimeric mass and equip?

What happens at the end of the turn when my {chimeric mass} turns back into a non-creature artifact if it had something equipped to it?

Correct. Equipment can only be attached to creatures. At the end of your End Step your Chimeric Mass will become an artifact again. The equipment is impossible to be attached. Thus, unequipping and is on the battlefield unattached.
