My main idea with these posts is to help new players make budget friendly decks and let seasoned players do something new with their cards.

Thorn, I think that this could be semi competitive with some alterations, but who cares? It doesn't have to be competitive in standard. My decks aren't very competitive, but I enjoy playing them. So what if it won't win at FNM? It's still fun to play with friends. If you wanted to make the deck a tad more plausible, you could run {Cathedral Sanctifier}, the bouncing angels (whatever they're called) with the land that gives you life when an angel enters the battle field, {cloudshift} and all that jazz. I say build it! I'd like to see how it works for you.
