I just created an account for this website. Was wondering if any of you have experience with it or anything I should be aware of. Thanks👍🏻

Go ahead note preferences on your profile. I get many messages offering to fill needs with foreign cards. Otherwise, my experience has been great.

In the past I was able to get high end staples (rev Duals, Wasteland, fetches, etc.) Now it seems like there is more competition for those cards (people offer bounties on top of their puca values). It's still a decent way to trade up and unload cards you'll never use.

So I should specify on my profile what type of cards I want?

I read some of the comments on here, but I would like to add my input to hopefully alleviate some concerns.

So, I've been using Pucatrade since the beginning of this year, and I have received, or will be receiving very soon:

1x {Grim Lavamancer} (M12, got it with my sign up points then went balls to the wall)
1x {Metalworker} (UD)
1x {Verdant Catacombs} (ZEN)
4x {Glimpse of Nature} (CHK)
1x {Natural Order} (VIS)
4x {Nettle Sentinel} (EVE)
4x {Quirion Ranger} (VIS)
2x {Shard Volley} (MOR)

And what I think is quite simply amazing because I have yet to ever see one or even try and pick one up anywhere else, a full art {Bramblewood Paragon}.

That's a grand total of 25,504 pp, $255.04!

On top of that I have 1,310 pp (quite literally $13.10 in credit) currently, and I'm waiting on confirmation for 30,854 pp (Or in other words, $308.54 in credit). I have been doing things with my cards that I've wanted to do my entire magic career. Pucatrade finally gave me the proper tools to trade UP! Every frekin' time!

I know some of you are skeptics, and so was I, but this site is doing wonderful things. Look, the system works. If you think that you'll get points and will never get your dual land, think again. Dual lands, and tons of other staples throughout all format are traded on here ALL THE TIME!

Just give it a shot. You don't have to go as overboard as I did, but I just can't help myself! They give you the tools to collect points at your own pace. Notice a spike in a certain cards value? With vigilance you can trade that card at it's peak and keep the points FOREVER! By watching the market you can cash in at opportune moments! You can even offload your hard to trade expensive older cards that everyone thinks is cool but simply doesn't want. More than likely you will find your buyer eventually. I can't say enough good things about this site. I literally stopped trading most everywhere else except for the occasional tabletop, which even then is me trading for value to trade in for more Puca Points!!

A few words of advice to any of you thinking of using:

1) List all of your valuables that you wouldn't mind parting with. You will maximize your trade value that way. I often find myself parting with things I would rarely trade unless it's for dual lands or something crazy like that. Well, wait a second? In a way I am trading the card for a dual land! The dual is of course a metaphor, but I'm sure you get the picture.

2) Try to bundle up! Once initiating a trade you feel comfortable with, check the user's profile! More often than not you will find that they want other Commons/Uncommons/bulk Rares that you also have! Throwing them in will usually not alter the price of postage and gets you that much more points, usually just for a brief dig through your Common box.

3) Condition. Currently there is no way to trade cards that are not NM (This is a point they are working to fix, but I will get back to that later). If you have any concern that your card may not be Mint/Near-Mint, simply take a few pictures! My recommendation is to open an Imgur account. It's free, and it will be a lifesaver by providing a quick and easy way to upload and share your photos of said cards with your potential trade partner! Usually, even if the card is not NM graded by your customer, you and them will be able to find a middle ground by adding in a small card/small cards off their needed list for no additional points, or by adding in a few cards they may be interested in but don't have listed that are minor. With a paid account you can even send points back once the card is received in order to redeem them for condition purposes. A free account gives you access to everything you need though, don't go thinking that this is a pay to play sort of scheme.

4) Trading international. Now this one is iffy, and is definitely completely at your disclosure. I recommend it, but it of course comes with it's downsides. The wait time between sending cards and receiving points is longer. The postage will almost always be more expensive than domestic. There is always a chance that your card might not make it. That is part of the game we play when we trade through the mail. You all know the rules if you trade here. Sh💩t happens. Luckily the moderation team there is very understanding, and if you have proof of sending the card (I keep all of my receipts), they will reimburse both parties. There are also perks of course though! For starters, you can move WAY more product! It opens up your customer base exponentially. Well, I guess that's about the only perk, but it's a big one! One tip if you do go overseas: Don't make a trade that isn't worth the postage. I try to keep my international trade at at least $10+.

5) Trade smart. This one is more of an interface option that will be unbelievably beneficial. Once your cards are listed, click the "Send Cards" tab, and under that page, turn on the filter that says "Auto-Matching". Do this, and never turn it off. What it does is it takes away all the other users that want crap you simply don't have, and gives you users that ONLY want what you have listed! From here you have tons of options! You can sort by username, point value of cards, pp level of users, country, card name, you name it! I personally prefer to keep it set to card value in highest to lowest descending order.

That's about all I can think of right now. They are even currently in the middle of a fundraiser to help launch a new wave of features that will change the game even further! If any of you are interested, I highly recommend throwing them a couple bucks, it's for a great cause! Especially if you are a fan of paper and digital magic. If nothing else, at least check out the video on the fundraising site and see exactly what it is they are doing, it's pretty ambitious!

If your still too lazy to click the link, let me tell you about the feature that is by far the most game changing and just downright cool! Paper to digital trades! This is not a one-way mind you, that's vice-versa! Digital to paper, paper to digital. It's crazy! I think this is exactly what Magic needed! Give a couple bucks, especially if you play both ways.

TLDR;

Use the site, it's amazing, I love it!

I should also mention, check the "Send Cards" tab whenever you get a chance. Things move fast on here, clicking it at just the right time can be the difference between moving 4 {Siege Rhino}s and simply sitting on 'em. BTW, Standard cards are H-O-T, HOT! They move super fast! Also very important! Watch what you put on your wanted list! Once it's there, people can send it. I don't recommend listing things unless you absolutely want them!

I should also mention that since these posts, I've traded almost $2300 worth of cards. Built the majority of Legacy Elves, foiled out Modern Elves, picked up tons of foils for EDH and Modern, and I honestly couldn't recommend this site enough!

Wow... Thanks for posting all that! I have only heard good things about this site, so looks like I'll be giving it a shot!

They were usually about 2 days behind but lately they've been on it.
