So I got  {Gisela, Blade of Goldnight} out and a  {Satyr Firedancer}, and I cast a  {Lightning Bolt}, does the Bolt deal 6 damage, and the Satyr another 12?

Yes the satyr is the new source already dealing 6 dmg to target creature, so double that source, moving the dmg up to 12 to that same target creature
