Mogg Raider combat tricks

So lets say Im attackibg with 10 goblins and have  {Mogg Raider} on the battlefield. My opponent decides to block 9 goblins. I can then use {Mogg Raider} to sacrifice the 9 blocked goblins and give the one thats going through +9/+9 before combat damage, correct?
