Germ + Turn to frog

If i have {Lashwrithe} equip on the germ token (5 swamps under my control), and my oponnent  {Turn to Frogs} it, does it become a 6/6 now instead of a 5/5?

Do note that if the equipment grants an ability, like {Batterskull}, the Germ will in fact lose the granted abilities until end of turn, as Turn to Frog creates a later time stamp that overrides the one created by the equip ability.
