I remember the standard deck version of this. Maybe try putting at least 2 delvers in?

I have this in pauper. Straight up izzet though, the land base doesnt allow for more colours. I run 4 x kiln fiend, 3 x nivix cyclops, 3 x wee dragonauts and 3 x delver of secrets. The delvers give you an awesome early threat and a possible turn 2 kill if you can give it double strike with a couple of mutagenic growths in hand.

Instant, Phyrexian mana, green, gives +2/+2? What is it? It should be in here.

Also, Niv can eat storm spell copies, so {Ground Rift} is a great way to buff and make your opponent unable to block.

Were you thinking of {Nivmagus Elemental} instead of {Nivix Cyclopes}? {Nivmagus Elemental} would make a great addition to this deck.

I wanna keep green in here, but black is presenting much better options :/ I can still get a t3 with groundswell, so it works okay. But that's only with kiln fiend....
