That is definitely one of the greatest feelings in the world, to be able to feel your teeth again after braces. All I will say is, if your doctor recommends a retainer at night or something, wear it. I didn't wear mine and so some of the work the braces did has reverted over time. Any way congrats. Finally you can eat so many things without getting them stuck in your teeth.
