1 Oblivion Ring

Much easier to play than my UB list, this deck is leans less on making critical decisions, and more on timing of playing cards. Since this list is not playing black, you lose a lot of the angles of attack you had before. While this is a crititical factor of gameplay, it does not mean that this deck is going to be bad. The extra counterspell in the MB will help with the game 1 against control. You also need more outs to creature threats because you dont have any spot removal. So to compensate the difference, we play one more wrath main than in the UB list because day of judgments dont recycle. Oblivion rings are for creatures and walkers that slip under the radar. Ratchet bomb is self explanatory and 2 in the main + 3 day of judgment will give you a strong game 1 against token decks. Gideon will help in your aggro matchups acting as a fog and destroying creatures. You can also turn Gideon sideways for damage and use him as an angle of attack while in the lead. Moorland Haunt allows you to obtain value out of your spent creatures and allows another angle of attack especially when equipped with a sword. War and Peace is critical here, and is much more in your favor to play than feast and famine. While feast and famine is powerful and an suitable substitute, War and Peace gives you protection from white. This is the most important factor because if an Elesh Norn slips through your counterspells, you will have a tough time dealing with it (since you want to avoid wrathing your creatures and hitting it with oblivion ring). Oblivion ring answers opposing walkers and birthing pod. Now in the SB we have a few more changes. The 4th oblivion ring is good against pod, creature, and planeswalker control decks. The timely reinforcments come in against red decks and pretty much ends the game when cast (RDW will basically fold to a resolved one of these). As for Karn, he provides another threat that the opposing control deck must answer or lose to. As for the cards that remained consistent (negate, jace, ratchet bomb, ghost quarter etc.) refer to the UB primer to find and understand their applications.
