More clever impersonating

If I choose to have {clever impersonator} copy  an enchant creature, do I get to choose a creature to attach it to, or would it just die?

303.4f: If an Aura is entering the battlefield under a player's control by any means other than by resolving as an Aura spell, and the effect putting it onto the battlefield doesn't specify the object or player the Aura will enchant, that player chooses what it will enchant as the Aura enters the battlefield. The player must choose a legal object or player according to the Aura's enchant ability and any other applicable effects.

I think this is exactly what I'm talking about. So to answer my own question, {clever impersonator} comes out, I choose an aura, then get to choose a creature for it. This would be cool for getting around shroud/hexproof, since choosing doesn't target.
Here, have {stab wound}, {sagu mauler}, you invincible bastard...

Yep, that works, same as with {Zur the Enchanter}! Give the mauler a {pacifism} or something while you're at it though.
