The best thing I have done so far was in 1 v. 1, where I played T1: {Sol Ring}, {Sapphire Medallion}, T2: {Jace, Architect of Thought}, and protected him until I ultied, found {Ominscience} and screwed my opponent out of the game with {Capsize}, winning the game with my opponent's {Jace, Memory Adept}.

Man. This deck looks pretty mean. Well, mono blue is always probably going to be mean, but this deck has a smoothness to it. I like it.

Looking to add: Want to squeeze in {Trinket Mage}, {Back to Basics}, {Talrand, Sky Summoner}, and {Pact of Negation}; need suggestions as to what to take out.

I'd reccomend removing clone for back to basics.

{Clone} is just too good in EDH, the only way I'd take it out is for {Phantasmal Image}.
