Would you travel 1 hour to cut down your own live Christmas tree and how much would you expect to pay for that tree?
How much would you expect to pay for a freshly cut tree if it was already in your city?

Thanks

I've cut down my own Christmas tree in the past, though I only traveled about 30 minutes to do so. An hour is edging close to the limit I'd travel to do so. I moved to plastic trees a few years back, so I can't name a price necessarily, but to cut it down myself and haul it, I'd expect it to be on par with precut, since though you are providing a service, your labor is limited to the costs associated with growing the tree, and not with cutting it down and transporting it.

Most people just get them from Home Depot now for ten bucks.

Not sure about precut. But the store I work at sells permits for 15 bucks
