{Cancel} is never a good card to run. There are plenty of {Cancel} clones, like one per set (i.e {Cancel} + Scry 1 = {Dissolve}). {Counterspell} is better for instance. I see that you're on a budget, or only including cards you own from the past few sets - like {Essence Scatter}. Commander format has access to many, many, unconditional counters that are better. Consider cards like {Rewind}, it's on budget and unconditional. Cards like:
