My new commander deck will contain exactly 3 Creatures: {Narset} , the one which can be cast from exile, and {Keranos} god of Narset loving. There's a pretty big chance that Narset's ability will leave him in exile, where he'll have to play with his thunderbolts by himself; his free land draws will be so sad, they'll cry on his beard all night long.

WE CAN'T LET THAT HAPPEN

I'm scouring the database for a spell or artifact which will let me make him gain flashback or return as a zombie or grant his static+triggered abilities to someone else...

so far I got {Runic Repetition} but it's focused on spells, not creatures.
Can you combo out of this Challenge?
iMTG I choose you!

And then {breath of life} and there's another one from avacyn, but I can't find it right now.

i think he means in combo with Pull, so that it just doesnt sit there on the grave. You can use  {Resurrection} after Pull from eternity for tuat as well

Kaylesh

Right, I meant to add to the combo indeed.
And {defy death} is the card I was looking for from Avacyn

Could't you be preemptive and add a card or two that would let you pull an echant or creature spell from your libary to your hand/battlefield?

I do believe there's a white tutor for enchants.
EDIT: {enlightened tutor} that's him! Cheaper too with {W}. Or {Idyllic Tutor} for straight to hand.
Just remember not to attack while it's on top of yr library

mickeven

{Narset, Enlightened Master} doesnt exile enchants forever. you still have till the end of turn to play them without paying their mana costs

Gods are considered enchantment creatures. They only time they are not creatures is when they are on the field and lack the devotion. As such they can't be cast via narset's ability.

{Demand} could also be used as a premptive shield to keep Zeus alive.

Part of {Demand} is green so it can't be in a Narset EDH deck

Right, forgot that with duo cards that all colors have to match.

Daxos

ha!

great ideas everyone

seems i should have searched for "removed from game" instead of "exiled" -- it's not the first time i forgot it used to be called that :D
also "put into graveyard" or "buried" for "died"

aaanyway I didn't think of enchant tutors bec. I sort of despise tutoring play styles...
but now that it has been suggested I use it as a "from exhile" pre emptive replacement I think I could prob find it a spot.

I think Pull commenter deserves big karma but i'm too n00b around here to have any to give
Challenge Defeated -- if you lurker / commenter / friend figure something we have missed, post it up!
Hopefully I got some karma to burn by then and hopefully Keranos won't have to suck on his thunderbolts alone in the dark anymore.

cheers mates
