Friend pulls

So I went to my lgs with some friends and one of them bought three Ktk packs. Through trading money rares back to the lgs for packs he pulled:

2 {Bloodstained Mire}
2 {Woodland Foothills}
{Polluted Delta}
And he only spent ~ $18 on packs

I had a friend doing something similar, except he traded the fetches back into the story. He ended up opening 7 fetches, but traded them all back in for packs and cash. When I found out, I yelled at him.
