So I go the Venser vs koth duel deck but in honestly really disappointed with the Venser deck. I want to improve it but I have no idea how to. Any suggestions on how a Venser deck should be built?

Creatures with ETB triggers are helpful.  {stonehorn dignitary}, {glimmerpoint stag}, {flickerwisp}

I modified mine quite a bit..
Adding {Solemn simucarium} (sp?) and tons of things that let me draw cards, {foresee}, more {preordain} I then added {ior expedition} and {seer's sundial} using {mycosynth wellspring} to set up the next hand.
{Infiltration lens} and {explorer's scope} also work well for more draws or landfall triggers. Especially equipped to {scroll thief}
To put the punch into all the extra draws i used {archmage assention} to allow me to go searching for what I needed. Also throwing in a {venser's journal} so I didn't have to start discarding cards. Lol

Cards like {aether adept} were great to keep the other players attackers at bay, but I ended up using a combo of {whispersilk cloak}+{galepowder Mage}  to bounce {mnemonic wall} and some exile target creature spell each turn, till I could get out {exclusion ritual} and venser.

To be fair I did give Koth a hand up, adding more burn and some nastier creatures.

The Venser deck is actually rather sneaky. It seems weak but once it all falls together its actually pretty powerful. The creatures in the deck aren't exactly use for attacking every turn. You should use cards in the deck that make other creatures unblockable. Venser, the planeswalker himself does this for all other creatures. By applying unblockable damage and then throwing down a safe passage or two, you can actually win. Cards like Clone really help as well, when you could just clone a creature your opponent has that's really damaging you and just block it and kill both. Now the Koth deck....I beefed up from the start. Added a couple Eldrazis with annihilator 4 and a platinum emperion and of course slapped in a mindslaver. My Koth deck is Overpowered now....however I had thought of throwing the eldrazis in the graveborn deck, but it's already beefed up enough. Haha.
