Can {trait doctoring} be used to change the text on {Karametra's Acolyte} to make it produce red mana according to your devotion to green?

Can {trait doctoring} be used to change the text on {Karametra's Acolyte} to make it produce red mana according to your devotion to green?

I believe it's the other way around. Doctoring says "color word" and the only color WORD is "devotion to green." You could add {G} to your mana pool according to your devotion to red but not the other way around.
