Ok let's say I have 2 {renegade doppelgänger } on the field and I cast a {giest of saint traft}. Could I have both of the doppelgängers copy the giest would they all die or would the triggers go on the stack and one doppelgänger live as a giest for the turn

Coffee Vampire

I think they would all die because 3 legendary creatures of the same name on the field at the same time = all eliminated as a state based action. And I don't think state based actions go on the stack (you can't respond to having zero life...only to things that would give you zero life)

Poof

I don't think u can cast both of them together doesn't the stack have to be empty to cast sorcery speed cards?

BlackJester

When {Giest of Saint Traft} (or any legendary creature) enters play both of your copycats will put their triggers on the stack. If you have them both target the spirit then after the first one resolves that copy will kill both itself and the Giest when the state is checked.
Then when the second copier resolves, it will use the last known info and become a copy of {Giest of Saint Traft} until the end of the turn.

Poof

So u can put two creatures on the stack is it just for sorceries that thebstack
Has to be empty?

The OP said that the two doppelgängers were already on the battlefield, Poof.
