I just built my first deck how do I make it a standard deck so I can play in tournaments?

Avnger345

Okay to make it standard it has to have
a min of 60 cards
No more than 4 of each card beside BASIC land
Cards Have to be from/in the following sets- m14, return to ravnica, gatecrash, dragon's maze, theros, born of the gods

Areanna

So all the cards have to be from one of those sets or only some

Giggle the Draco Genius

Those are the sets you can use for standard, if the card is from one of them it is allowed to be in the deck.

Constructed decks must contain a minimum of sixty cards. There is no maximum deck size; however, you must be able to shuffle your deck with no assistance. If a player wishes to use a sideboard, it must have fifteen or less cards.

With the exception of basic land cards, a player's combined deck and sideboard may not contain more than four of any individual card, counted by its English card title equivalent. All cards named Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest are basic.

The following card sets are permitted in Standard tournaments:

Return to Ravnica
Gatecrash
Dragon's Maze
Magic 2014
Theros
Born of the Gods
Journey Into Nyx (effective May 2, 2014)

There are no cards banned in Standard tournaments.

Standard always consists of the two newest Expansion Blocks, as well as any Core Sets released since the start of the older of those two Expansion Blocks. This means that each October, when a new Block starts, the Block that started 2 years prior, as well as the Core set that released about 15 months prior, rotate out.
