Possibly a {chandra, pyromaster} or two? She pings...she gives a little card advantage...and if you hit her ultimate it's just bliss to see {turn/burn} pop up

i disagree. i think against a gray merchant deck, a bunch of the creatures may not me attacking.

Yes if i can bounce all their devotion along with it!!! Assuming i can put the game away efore they drop another fatty gary..

I guess. But they'll still be able to play the first one again, and even a 4 point life swing (total, that is) is a good amount. If they can drop a second one the game is probably over.
Also,remember {underworld connections}. That and the whip won't be bounced.
