Try play with pictures of the cards!

I think the try play option should show card pictures just like the Deck Builder is able to.

As Spike said, no, we cannot use card images as proxies.

Yes, but as with a any product/company, WotC are to want to make100% of the profit and also will probs want to moderate how the card images would be used anyway in case it overtakes necessity of needed the physical cards themselves.
Don't blame Piotr for only being allowed to make an MtG companion.
