Grab bag raffle packs?

So I thought it'd be fun to by 20ish different packs, invite some friends over (find the average cost of each pack and charge that amount times the amount if packs your receive), and assign each pack a number on a d20. We go in a circle getting random packs. What would be some fun (and hopefully cheaper!) packs to get, and do any of you have tips to help pull this off?

So you are essentially planning a redraft? We (me and a few friends) did this thing where each player brought three "packs" and we drafted them. Each pack is 11 commons, 3 uncommons and 1 rare and it allows people to get rid of junk rares and overflow commons/uncommons plus you get a weird and unique drafting experience.

Not really, as there is no drafting involved, unless I can convince my friends to. Although what you said sounds awesome!
