The dictionary defines art as

The creation of beautiful or significant things

The product of human creativity

A superior skill you can learn by practice, study, or observation

Photographs or other visual representation in a publication
Because i really like this subject:

#1 could include natural events such as growing trees and land formation which I would not call art. They are beautiful indeed and awestriking, but I think to separate art from beauty, art must be a deliberate thing.

I like definition #2

I think definition #3 can involve products that don't involve any creativity, which i believe is essential to art. It's not a bad definition though.

#4 is just too specific.

I know I'm being pedantic. But I think art involves creation via a product or a skill which must incorporate the idiosynchratic influence of the individual producing it.
So to answer your question in short, other forms of art involve any creation which is uniquely shaped by the artist. The medium is less important.

Writing could also most definitely be included. I do love a good read. :)

I mean like the formation of mountains over millions of years and stuff. Landsaping by people is totally artistic i agree

I love art and all kinds of it. I like to consider myself as an artist. I paint, sketch and write poetry.

I love anything the breaks the limits and boundaries :) I also have a love for abstract.

Well. I already told a couple people this, and I'm just going to tell everyone. I'm thinking about doing an art plane custom set. I've figured out what each color represents in this world (by figuring out the two color combinations) except for black. I have no clue what to do for it
