Edh, combo, broken?

I have a buddy I want to get into edh and I saw he had {Sen Triplets} and realized it would be the perfect commander for him. There are a few reasons for posting this.

1. What are the greatest esper combos and synergies you know?

2. Any specific thoughts on what should be included?

3. What are the most broken things in magic you have encountered? The more I can include the more likely he will like the format.

A T2 {Isochron Scepter} and {Counterspell}!!!! Worst game ever

 {Mycosynth Lattice} + {Darksteel Forge}, {Celestial Dawn} are key cards with the triplets.

{Power Artifact} + {Basalt Monolith} is inf mana
{Rings of Brighthearth} {Basalt Monolith} is inf mana + {Sensei's Divining Top} is inf draw
Inf mana + {Blue Sun's Zenith} is inf draw. First draw your oqn deck then cast sensei's divining top and redraw zenith from your deck, using rings of brighthearth to copy top's ability so you have 0 cards in your deck. And both top and zenith in your hand. Repeat this process only using zenith on all other players to deck them. You can kill all players that way!
{Teferi, Mage of Zephyr} + {Arcane Laboratory} or {Knowledge Pool} is a soft lock.
