We'll the only reliable way to kill her is with heroes downfall and dreadbore because she can just +1 herself and can't be burned or attacked

Detention sphere for standard, oblivion ring.

Getting a plainswalker to stick in Standard against esper doesn't happen, and all the other decks play little dudes.

Well I mean O-ring isn't standard, but I understand what your saying with stuff not sticking but really there is no such thing as a perfect card so when it comes down to it Kiora might find a niche deck

She can't +1 herself. Target permanent an opponent controls. That would just be silly if she could make herself invulnerable for 3 turns then ultimate.

Im actually already working on a simic devotion that involves kiora if anyone would like to help make it a reality with me.

I'll post my rough draft in about 10 minutes in the standard section for those interested.

The + is eh.. It would be amazing if it were a CREATURE you control (I say creature because it would be way too OP for permanent).
The -1 is way cool! With simple mana ramp, bring Kiora out T3, -1 you could potentially have 6-ish mana T4.
Finally the -5 is SUPER cool! Since there isn't a reliable way to get rid of emblems, this would be awesome to have by T6 and since its in {G}{U} there are enough ways to stall (Counters, fogs, etc.)

Overall I say its a 6/10 card because of the 2 loyalty counters. Easily picked off by little guys or burn spells.

This is only one way to get rid of emblems that I am aware of, and that option does not exist in standard...

Emblems aren't permanents, they don't exist inside the game. As far as I know you can't get rid of them...

{Karn Liberated} ultimate

lololololo that halfway counts. So you CANNOT get rid of emblems. You can only restart the game. Either way you look at it, when you evaluate the card don't evaluate it on the emblem getting removed pls :P

also, if you let Karn ult. That's your fault/problem.
I was saying because Karn is the only temporary way to remove emblems and its a simple emblem to get out because of counterspells and fogs that its actually pretty sweet. I wasn't trying to focus on it being removed.
