Anyone play alternate commander games?

My friends and I are always trying to add some flavor to our EDH games. We have come up with some fun alternative rules that can bring plenty of laughs to the table.

The first is simply adding Planechase to the mix. The same rules apply but you adapt the planechase cards. This makes the games longer than normal so we compensate by adding extra draws for players.

The second we play and my favorite is playing with an imaginary {possibility storm} in play. No player can mess with the imaginary enchantment. This adds a lot of randomness to the can but tons of laughs.

My friends and I once dominated a heap of Emporer Commander games.

One Bishop (side player) was running {R}{U}{G} with a focus on mana ramp and creature pumping.
Me, the other Bishop, was running {B}{W}{R} with a focus on tutoring and flickering.
Emporer was running {R}{W}{U} with a focus on draw, counter and burn.

The games went so well, we ended up with a team nickname by the end of the day; The Untouchables. XD

These sound awesome I plan in trying them ASAP. What is the largest commander game you have played? I sat through a 15 player game once. I do not recommend that.

We played Planechase Commander. It took forever, but it gives you something to do in the early rounds. Jund plane (Planechase 2012) gives a huge advantage to Jund players

My friend and I play two headed where one player has an edh deck and one player has a standard deck. We started with 50 life and had a blast.

Never considered mixing it up like that. Seems very fun. Jund planechase can be very unfair.

I really like this ^^ idea. I've never played a live game of planechase but I did play it a little bit on DotP and really liked it.
