Okay, so we have a book discussion thread, this is the logical next step. Keep the spoilers to a minimum and always announce that it is a spoiler before you say it.

Two movies I saw recently:
-Catching Fire: I have read the series and I have to say, I HATED the second book. The second movie, on the other hand, was a vast improvement over the book. The book seemed to only have the purpose of setting up the third novel and kind of dragged where as the movie added more drama and signifigance to the story.
-Silver Linings Playbook: AMAZING. This movie kept you guessing and never really had a dull moment. It has great character development and is quite emotional. This movie really hits home, especially if you have had, or know someone who has had emotional problems such as depression.

Both of those films were fantastic. I'm excited for American Hustle. Take all the awesome actors from Silver Linings Playbook and add Christian Bale, Jeremy Renner and Louis CK.

I just saw Ender's Game after reading the book. It was very accurate to the book (I didn't expect it not to be considering Card was a producer,) but I wish they would've explained Ender being a Speaker for the Dead a little more. Especially if they want to continue the series.

I hated the Hunger Games movie (didn't read the books, because I don't enjoy fiction). The film was loaded with plot armor and deus ex machina.

I saw Gravity, I liked that very much. Looking forward to the new Coen Brothers film "Inside Llewyn Davis".

I saw catching fire last week. It was pretty good, some people said they left out parts, but I read it 2 years ago and I didn't remember

American Hustle does look great, can't wait to see that....

Gravity SUCKED. It tried to pass as real but there was a less than 0.5% chance of her surviving.
