I can see Angel for the Aetherling. The rest I have a little trouble with.
Sphinx's Revelation: Because good card and I use it every time I draw it, even if it's only for 2 on T5.
Helix: Because 4 mana 8 life swing. Or 4 mana kill your 'walker/stormbreath/other creature, gain 4 life. I was considering making this a 4-of, I just didn't want double helix openers.
Elixir: Helps me go long. Recycles Sphinx's and make it more profitable late-game (Less lands to clog up your draw). The 5 life can be relevant, too. I'll do some tests without it and check out how the deck plays, but I'm really happy with Elixir in this list.

Anger: I really want this card. I do. But the fact that it doesn't kill everything and always kills my blockers is a weird trade-off. I definitely need to test with it, but it's slot is definitely not in any Sphinx's slot.
D. Sphere: Same scenario. I want more of this card, just don't feel like it's in the elixir slot.

Edit: +1 for you help, as well. Do you have any further suggestions?

I don't think you want 4x Sphinx you need that early control hence anger and D Spheres. Few (if any) PT decks play 4x Sphinx MB bc it's not good in multiples

Want to point out that helix doesn't hit stormbreath :)

Besides that, I would cut the angel of serenity and maybe 1 sphinx's rev for 2 anger of the gods.

Also for Helix, its good but its still a 4 drop with a single target Anger stops aggro PERIOD!! It gets rid of dorks, and it stops RDW. Helix is good but I'd keep it at a 2-of

I can see that for helix. Alright you've convinced me, lol. But what's the other Anger slot?

Take out a Sphinx for an Anger I think was my suggestion. When you look at Tier 1 control decks (Wafo Tapas Esper Control PT Theros) he plays 3 sphinx and really few play 4 so idk I trust Wafo Tapa

I've tried 3 revs. Some games is just never draw them and lose. And I'd rather have an abundance than occasionally not drawing them.

True if you tested it and you feel comfortable with 4 by all means go for it :D

Yeah. I'll have to see what I can work out on Friday. But I think I'll be going in with at least 2x anger.

Anger is a good call bc this format has gotten quite fast with heroic and RDW well at least my LGSs meta anyway

All of the heroic decks I've seen so far aren't anything for this deck to worry about. "Crap, you're attacking with how much? Oh wait. Overload rift, since you tapped out..."
I'd definitely like to exile some Phoenix, though...

Most heroic decks don't let you get to 7 mana ;) lol

That's what rift, charm, mortars, sphere, etc are for. =P
