When {boros reckoner} is dealt damage, is it only 3 he can deal damage to player or creature. Or say if a 6/6 dealt damage to it, it could deal 6 to another?

Blazingblevins

Also if it has {unflinching courage} on it. Will it get lifelink from the extra it deals damage to a player or creature?

Gorzo

However much damage is dealt to the Reckoner is how much he deals out (If he takes 13 from {Blasphemous Act}, he deals 13 damage. If he takes 1 damage from a {Slitherhead}, he deals out 1 damage).

And yes, Lifelink does apply! Any abilities revolve around "when this creature deals damage" will work with it (as long as the ability doesn't specify combat damage). So lifelink and even Deathtouch will be applied to it.

Nice. Well that explains why the card is so good, and expensive

Just thought of something. If I give boros lifelink and I do the damage back to {boros reckoner} then I could virtually get unlimited life because of the cycle, right?

The Boros Reckoner will die as soon as it has 3 damage on it (or whatever it's toughness happens to be at the time), as a state-based action that does not use the stack and happens before more triggers can resolve.

However, if you prevent that from happening (say, {Boros Charm} to make him indestructible), then yes, you can have it target itself and loop the triggers over and over for unlimited lifegain if it has lifelink.
