I really enjoy seeing people rip up their cards from me.

Haha, that's the spirit

Maybe it's cause it the sets I was introduced to magic in, but the ravnica, and return to ravnica blocks are just so cool. I love the guild flavor and all the mechanics. The back story is pretty cool too.

Agrus Kos, Enforcer of Truth

Top 3 would be:
-Ravnica: love the multicolor and the original was the last sets I played before I fell out of Magic for a little while and RTR brought me back in.
-Zendikar: I love how Zendikar feels and deeply regret not playing when it came out.
-Kamigawa: fun flavor, Bushido and Ninjitsu

Mlerner12

I might have to say (story wise)

Zendikar, Innistrad or Shards.

I'm kind of disappointed that I haven't seen anyone saying they miss or like the older sets. I think the Urzas and ice age blocks had some of the best fluff.

LadyGrixis

I don't know why, but I'm so in love with Legions. It made me LOVE big green stomp-your-face creatures. And the art just makes me happy <3

Legions was a very awesome set. The artwork was great! Plus the slivers were a nice bonus.

Langku

Opening Lorwyn packs (and I lump Shadowmoor in here too) felt like a mini trip through a George McDonald tale or a peek into a Henson movie like Dark Crystal. It simply burst with old Welsh, English, Irish, or whatever European faerie tales. The art was rich and the tribal mechanic (a personal favorite) was central to the block. I enjoy the forays WotC takes into slightly more niche areas of the fantasy genre (i.e. Greek myths, gothic horror, and faerie tales). Lorwyn was my first mtg experience and will always be my favorite.

Alara block is my fave. Alara Reborn in particular because I love the fact that every card in that set was multicolored.

Onslaught holds a nostalgic place in my heart.

ApexPredator

The original Ravnica is one of my Favorites.  I loved the books and the flavor. It was amazing.
