I think it may have been done slowly over time like again that guy saw a dog and thought "DOG!" And so on and slowly over time they've come up for words for more and more how grammar came about must've been a challenge though. It must've been agreed upon by the group of whatever language speakers were deciding it so it was easier to understand each other as they talked so it wouldn't play out like this... Guy 1 "me ball throw" guy 2 "throw ball me" so some set of speaking/writing rules must've been put in place to solve this although without grammar... Deciding these things must've been hell to discus
