Why not just proxy it since its EDH? You could make it foily even.

I use proxy foil dual land set for my EDH dragon deck and they look amazing.

Thought about it, but I'm that kind of guy where I'd drop a proxy dual and be like "Yeah, it's all cool and stuff, but it isn't real." and proceed to bitch about it not being the actual card haha.  Although, some proxies look sweet all foily and stuff (see the grayscale JtMS that I probably don't need that whitedrake is doing for me)  I just like authenticity, though :-\

Yeah I know what you mean.  I played a {mystic remora} recently and a {noritt}. Old school originals ftw. Definitely not as valuable, but something about a nearly 20 year old card is badass.
