Every deck (besides evasion decks) needs some kind of creature removal option. Separate your favorite vamps from the others then replace the dud vampires with kill spells, burn spells or draw spells

He is right.  You need to have responses to your opponent.  Creatures are important, but you have to make sure they make it to the BF and can get through to do damage.
