Mono Blue Ætherling 60 cards, 0 sideboard 2 {Ghost Quarter} 21 {Island} 23 lands 4 {Judge's Familiar} 3 {Ætherling} 3 {Phantom Warrior} 3 {Augur of Bolas} 3 {Invisible Stalker} 16 creatures 3 {Frost Breath} 2 {Mizzium Skin} 2 {Downpour} 3 {Rewind} 2 {Rapid Hybridization} 2 {Cyclonic Rift} 2 {Hands of Binding} 2 {Blustersquall} 3 {Negate} 21 other spells Sideboard Notes: I'm going to try this deck out at FNM this week because no one will expect a mono deck. {Deathcult Rogue} will be subbed for {Phantom Warrior} if I can't get any by 6 PM Friday. I did a few sample hands and it could use some draw power. {Curiosity} maybe? Any thoughts?

Draw could be {divination}, {curiosity}, {think twice}, or any number of things. {curiosity} seems to be the best option though, since you have unblockable dudes.

I don't see too much concern with counter spells. A couple of {negate}s, but no {syncopate} or {dissipate}s. any reason?

No {dissipate} simply because I don't own any. I have {rewind} but that's only useable by T4 at the earliest. I may put {syncopate} in the SB to replace rewind with. The more I think about it, the more I like {curiosity}. I may try replacing {mizzium skin} with that.

Im not a fan of {think twice} because its five mana to draw two cards. {Divination} is sorcery speed but there's {inspiration} for {1} more and its instant speed.

WotC needs to stop pussyfooting around reprinting {counterspell} and {brainstorm} in standard.
