How do you get VIP status?

There's no status called "VIP." Are you referring to Boss, Patron, Adventurer, or Moderator?

Boss: Choose the "Buy it all" option for the app purchases.
Patron: Pay the $1 a month fee for Patron status, and some cool bonuses.
Adventurer: Shoot Piotr a pm to be considered to become a Beta tester.
Moderator: The mods will notice if somebody should become a mod. No special actions required; just be yourself.

One time purchase! The only monthly charge is for Patron status.
