Stuffy Doll doesn't target at any point, so hexproof does nothing. Damage will happen!

Unless you put stuff doll down after lichbane? You choose a player which in my mind is the same as target player

Logically, you would think so.
But this game is all about the wording of the cards. If it doesn't say "target" it can't stop it.

Choosing a player is technically not targeting. It's the same way {Phantasmal Image} can copy {Geist of Saint Traft}.
