The combo:
Cast an  {Sphinx of the Chimes} with  {Lotus Bloom}, {Simian Spirit Guide}, {Desperate Ritual} or  {Pentad Prism}.

With the sphinx you discard all rats and draw your entire deck.
Then make six mana and cast  {Immortal Servitude} and {Burst of Speed}.

InfinitiveDivinity

BAM! {Sever the Bloodline}! Haha sorry, couldn't resist. I love me some combo though, this is sweet!

You could have a fallback like {Labratory Maniac}. :)

I'd replace the {Dimir Aqueduct} with  {Dimir Guildgate}. Then you have another mana open that turn.

When you play {Dimir Aqueduct}, you return a land to your hand and it enters tapped. When you play {Dimir Guildgate}, it enters tapped but you still have that other land open for mana.

Well this deck is more 'do it on your turn' then 'do it on your opponents turn.'

With that being said, just tap the land, the bounce it.  When you say the guildgate, there are better cards that come in tapped.  Like {Jwar Isle Refuge}, even then they are bad cards.

Can you explain to me why you run the Karoo lands over more shocks or basics? Thanks! Looks like a fun combo that I've never even considered before, good job!

Why aren't you running shocks? or even basics?

I think it is to get the combo off better

The old ravnica lands are 2 lands in one card.
The sphinx and the stone cost either 6 or 5 mana and you don't cast a card in exception of
{pentad prism}. With those lands i've more space for other cards.
