Rakdos has superior allies but either way you can end up with both.

I like Rakdos, myself. Any of their 4 possible allies are solid additions. On top of Red/Black agro of Rakdos itself, it's allies will add one of the following incredible additions:

Boros: additional R/W aggression
Gruul: bloodrush. 'Nuff said.
Orzhov: late game and bleeder effects (including extort) for additional pings and late-game finishers if Rakdos starts running out of gas
Dimir: Unblockable and tricky additional attacks, cipher that assists in mid-late game attacking, like {hands of binding}

Rakdos has the better allies all they way. If you hit one of your red allies then you are super agressive, if you hit Dimir you can be tricky. And if you hit orzhov then you can bleed and unleash which would be sick.

Yeah I'm not going seeing as the closest card shop is 2 hours away, and those people are *****, and even the next one is 3 hours away...

Yeah I don't want to go...

My closest shop for prerelease is about 300 km... According to Norwegian speed limits 4 hrs in car... Then only bcs of that event I took plane to capital city... And I will do the same with MGD...

Sometimes distance is not important...
