Can I use a proxy in bigger tournies? Something bigger then FNM? And my idea of a proxy is I take a card like the checklist card for the double faced ones, write down the name of the card, the cost of the card. But I have the real cards next to me, so I don't have to shuffle ad bend my more expensive cards.

Avoid the confusion and just buy better sleeves. You have to get proxy's ok'd by the judges and thats a 50/50 shot at best.

In the end yes, but players can sway the judge against allowing it since the preferred method is playing with the origional card.
