Is  {Hallowed Fountain} considered a basic land? Could I fetch it with  {Gatecreeper Vine}?

I'm pretty sure it's consider a Plains Island, and not a basic. Far seek can get it, but Gatecreeper Vine cannot.

No it is not considered a basic land nor a gate card. Therefore  {Gatecreeper Vine} can not pull it out.  {Hallowed Fountain} card type reads "Land- Plains Island" hence it says only land it is not considered a basic land but is a non-basic instead. Cards like {farseek} can do such a thing because it names a specific land type like the shocklands contain.
