So i have determined my horrible draws are due to my shuffling.. All i can do affectively is side shuffle, im dyig to riffle shuffle instead. I get the concept, and can riffle somewhat with my right hand but i cannot get my left hand to do anything right, how can i learn? Seriously no matter how much i try i cant teach my left hand to riffle less than 5 cards at a time! Also how long does it take to teach oneself this skill?

I learned from constantly practicing. But I rarely riffle shuffle magic cards. Only if they have sturdy sleeves do I carefully riffle. I prefer dealing out in to piles. But seriously, lock yourself in a room with 52 card deck and perhaps a YouTube video. You'll get there.

How long haha i have winter break coming up, im feeling either im oing to riffle shuffle the whole time or play magic the whole time... Must riffle first

Use a normal deck of cards first and learn with them they feel Easyer to shuffle at times

Take 60 land and two packs of penny sleeves. Sleeve up and shuffle every way you can think of till you find something you feel is effective and looks cool. Yes looking good shuffling is important. A good shuffle can total mindgame an opponent and put them off their game. If you can shuffle effectively without looking and with haste then you can throw your opponent off and be able to observe them and maybe even carry out conversation.

Once those penny sleeves are good and dead after changing them out a few times then try it with your normal sleeves and you should be good to go.

Heres my current shuffle.. 1-2 right, 5 left

My left hand is stupid

Practice the initial faning of the cards with your left hand then lol I tought myself to shuffle with a normal deck of playing cards... Wedged them into each other so I could learn to bridge them together. Then learn how to fan them together then put the two together

Sleeves make riffle shuffling the easiest thing in the world, you can effectively just jam one half of the deck into the other (on the sides) and they just slide into each other.

There are plenty off good shuffling tutorials on YouTube, get onto it.

I would also confirm everything above, get a normal deck of 52 cards and learn with that first, also learn cutting (maybe even one handed!)
Then get your lands and sleeves and spend time trying what is effective from what you have already learned.
Also take note on how the pro's do it, watch some of the protour videos and see the different styles and who does what.

Have fun and good luck :)
