What would be better for me to play in the meta- tezz affinity, or dredge (without lions eye diamond)?

Affinity is good, it's not been having great matchups lately, Dredge is more consistent.

Is dredge viable without lions eye diamond (unless some extremely nice person wants to loan me 4 for jan 4-6 :) ), and with all the gy hate out there?

I would go with affinity yes.

Btw I don't know about legacy much but I think Mono black control could be a good option. {Hymn to Touarch}, {Dark Ritual}, {Phyrexian Obliterator}, blah blah
