{counterflux} how does the overload work

Kaleo42

#1
Example. Opponent casts {restoration angel} with one dude in play. Then passes priority, you cast {searing spear} targeting that one dude and pass priority back. The opponent responds by casting a second {restoration angel} and passes priority to you. So the stack looks like this (bottom spell is the oldest):
{restoration angel}2
{searing spear} target dude in play
{restoration angel}1

You have priority and cast {counterflux} with the overload changing the stack:
{counterflux} overload
{restoration angel}2
{searing spear} target dude in play
{restoration angel}1

Flux resolves and counters both {restoration angel} and you {searing spear} kills their dude.
