Galvanoth overload

Hey quick question. If I  {Galvanoth} into a  {Mizzium Mortars}, can I use it's overload ability for free? This has probably already been answered but just to clarify.

No, when you cast spells without paying their mana costs you cannot pay alternate costs and x=0
