I hate RTR boosters!!!

Just bought 3 packs on a whim at Walmart. And got great cards like {Grave Betrayal}, {Mana Bloom} and {Palisade Giant}. I have no frigging luck I'm gonna buy a few more tonight at FNM. If nothing great, I will just start buying singles and just do drafting.

Palisade giant and grave betrayal are awesome though imho. Maybe not money cards but hey!

I feel like all three of those are pretty good. Definitely have their uses. Hey, you could get lucky and have a couple sleepers on your hands.

Can only hope that. Just that I've pulled 5 {Grave Betrayal}s out of maybe a box and a half worth of packs.

I've bought about half a box so far getting 2 abrupt decays, 2 hallowed fountains one being foil, a blood crypt, and a detention sphere in a 8 pack buy. Unfortunately I've gotten all crap since.

In a box of them I got only 1 shock land, no planeswalkers. Best were 2 x abrupt decays and an angel of serenity. My stepson got a box, same time, pulled'a foil Jace and a normal one LOL...

I mainly only buy singles every once in a while I get a pack or 2. I hardly get things I need so I buy a lot of magic cards for trade fodder or just get singles. Yep that has worked for me so far.

I wanted a fat pack box, so did a deal with my son. He got the box for $50 Australian, which is pretty good for here. I'd let him off $25 he owes me for the box, dice, book, and one unopened booster. For his $25 he'd get the remaining 8 boosters (they're $6 here normally).

He readily accepted, and we cracked the fat pack. I randomly pulled a booster. Score = Angel of Serenity, my 4th. He got random rares from his 8 packs. Kinda made up for him getting 2 x Jace's from his box LOL...

Did a RTR draft last night and can't complain. First pack {Temple Garden}, 2nd pack was a {Cyclonic Rift}. Plus got passed a {Righteous Authority} second pick. So U/W was pretty much established as my colors. Third pack was a nice {Detention Sphere}. And then 3 picks later I was passed {Isperia, Supreme Judge} so I took it. Went 3-0 and got 1st place. So I now have a little faith in RTR now lol
