Hey guys ! I'm having 5 people coming over to play hell of a lot of magic. Since im only used to 1v1, dó you have Any suggestions to how we should play? Any types of multiplayer modes you Can recommend ? :D

Theres nothing more fun than 6 people ffa while openly making pacts.

Also the more people you are the harder it becomes to focus someone.
I was playing yesterday and it went to like turn 20 and the people started to drop lije flies even with 20 health ;D

6 is the magic number for EDH emperor. Emperor rules aren't too complicated and you might have an argument or two over who gets to be the "emperor" but definately my favorite style of magic. Not to mention the ante can get rediculous.

I recommend planechase or commander if you have planechase cards or commander decks respectively.

Or, just play a casual free-for-all game of multiplayer magic! Or teams!

Whichever way you go, if you are making decks just for multiplayer (not a bad idea, the dynamics of the game are very different), I recommend a solid defense and look for spells that say "each player" or "each opponent." {Skull Rend} for example.

Oh yeah, and check out the new overload mechanic in multiplayer FFA, it's crazy.

When we had 6-8 people playing at my mates place we used to play teams (2HG) it was pretty good and worked well.

Emperor sounds great, I might have to build a deck for that.
