Abrupt Decay vs hex proof

It just occurred to me that abrupt decay may work on hex proof creatures but I'm not sure... For example traft maybe... If so abrupt decay is nutty.... 'can't be countered by spells OR ABILITYS'

Nope it doesn't work. Abrupt targets a perament so can't target hexproof.

{Abrupt Decay} can still be countered by game rules, such as the target no longer being legal (e.g. The creature gained hexproof)
