Dumb question.... What is the converted mana cost of a {phyrexian metamorph}?

4, basically anything in that upper righthand corner counts as mana cost except "x"

Yep, things get trickier with hybrid mana and split cards, but we'll just not go there.

4, but at least you get a choice of what to pay for that 4 CMC with either of your colours. Where as {Progenitus} requires 10 CMC and you must use all five colours. ðŸ˜± But it's worth it! ðŸ˜

A slightly trickier question would be "What's the converted mana cost (CMC) of {Reaper King}?"
Answer: 10. Not matter how you paid for it, it'll always be the highest sum of all the numbers.
